I am not a scientist, I am a journalist by trade and training.
On the surface the two professions may seem completely different, but the basic driving principles of both professions are the same. A scientist and a journalist both have to be good at asking questions, those questions provide a motivation and a curiosity to learn about the world; and drives them to seek answers.
As a journalist, it is my job to report on what is happening in the world. Science research is part of that, at times it can be confusing. This blog’s purpose is to communicate science in a manner that is understandable and applicable to the average person.
